Ps4 freezing in Playstation store game video previews
My ps4 always freezes when I try to view the preview video to a game. This is the 3rd time this happened. Pressing buttons does nothing happened only since after the latest update.

PS4 Corrupted Data??
So yesterday I decided to buy Cod WWII and it downloaded and all. I loaded up the game and everything was fine, but after completing one multiplayer match, the game crashed and this message popped up. I close the game and proceed to re download cod as it stated in the message. Fast forward to when it finished downloading. I open it up, finish a match online and it crashed again with the same message.... Have redownloaded the game multiple times, went to safe mode to rebuild database, restored licenses and still nothing... Every other digital game I own work fine except for Cod... Any ideas of what I could do??? Thanks

Hey all, my names Kev, been on playstation since the original Playstation.
Games I am currently playing include Neverwinter, Ark, Metal Gear Solid and more
I am hoping to find an active and nice tribe in Ark, preferably one which mostly has active members, I am currently part of a friends tribe, however most are from the US and when i get up, they goto bed, so i'm not having allot of fun as you can imagine.
Was hoping to join a fun tribe, whether its PvP or PvE, PvP would be prefered as its just more fun.

Is it possible to change the ps4 home screen Music to a song of your own choice? And How?
And do I need Spotify?
I have music on iTunes, and on my pc, as mp3’s Ripped from my CD’s. Can any of that be used?

My debit card information has been on my account for awhile and I could purchase anything no hassle but it seems now everytime I try purchase anything it comes up that the card information isn't valid(which is fully is) and keeps telling me to update the information but it's all correct?
How can I get this issue resolved

Sound on but video off when turning PS4 back from rest mode
Hi,
I have a PS4 Slim bought brand new last Christmas (Dec 2016...). Now I have a recurring issue that happens more and more although not always. Must have noticed it for the first time a few (1-3) months ago.
I usually put my PS4 in rest mode and lately, when I turn it back on, I can hear the sound of the PS4 on the TV but the screen stays black. No video. The TV (Samsung) detect the PS4 and doesn't show a "missing input" message.
Now, I have been able to get it back running, either pushing long enough on the power button (so rebooting it I guess?), either unplugging it (which I guess is bad, and at least annoying when turned back on). But it gets annoying and I suspect that there maybe something behind that, which I should care about? Like to not burn my PS4....
As I said, I usually put my PS4 in rest mode. Which means that it has been turned off only for 3 months this summer over the last year. Not sure if that matters? I am not having fun plugging/unplugging the HDMI cable all the time (like never?), the PS4 has been sitting here next to the TV for one year and there's no reason for the HDMI port to have been physically damaged.
I googled for a solution but nothing seemed to really match my case, always related to a damaged HDMI port.
What should I do? Does it need a trip to a repair service?

Recent activities and trophies are not showing??
I cant see any of my recent activities or trophies earned on my What's New tab or on my friends profiles? All my privacy settings are set to everyone and I've pressed the triangle to update but have had no success, has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution for this issue? I can see all my friends trophies and activities.......

Help from a Beginner
Hi. I have never played before and I'd like to start and buy a PS4 Pro. Love the games choice like the Horror ones. But I have been told that someone like who has never owned a console, I should start with something "simpler" like maybe a PS3. But my question is : does it really matter? I know I need to learn how to use the control etc.. but do I really need to start with some old version? Really would like a PS4 Pro. What do you think guys? What's your experience?

I am playing Ghost Recon Wildlands via disk, I have bought add ons for the game from the store and have attempted to download them, but will not work. The store is telling me to buy the wild lands game online in order to access the add ons. Do I ask for my money back or is there a work around?

im getting a ps4 soon and ive heard about them overheating occasionally. how do i prevent this. should i play for a limited amount of time say 1 hour of gameplay? should i put it somewhere with plenty of space?

One game, two discs.
Evening Mates,
Hope your doing fine.
I had BF1 installed and downloaded the 24 GB update for V1.16 and done playing it. I got a new Disc for BF1 and now I have two icons and I shall download the same 24GB again!!
Both discs are Region 2.
One more question, what good is the Data Save for a game if it won't work when I change the Disc.
Most importantly, how to have the above issue solved as I have two updated now for the same version,
one is 24GB and the other is 3GB. I suspect that the less one is of the old disc I had a couple of weeks back.
Please get back to me with a resolution or any work around as I cannot afford all that time and data consumption again.

Help with bbc I player and now TV?
Okay so i've just switched back to ps4 from xbox and installed a few apps youtube Netflix etc.. but with bbc iplayer it randomly freezes while watching something like stops then plays again dont know what's the issue? If anyone can shed some light on that please do. Also with now tv I was watching the walking dead and it crashed sent me away with a error code? Help if anyone can

Account Hacked
Hacked.. Well I am not 100% sure about that, but I have a good idea that maybe it was. I tried logging into my PS4 account only to find that my password no longer worked. I decided to try use the "Forgot my Password" function, however when I tried using that it only told me that my Email was not valid. So now I'm being told that my email doesn't even work. I guess I just need some help to get my account back. I had to make this one so that I could post this.

LG + HDCP + HDR = No Go
Hi,
I wonder if you could help me a bit. Last summer I bought an LG 65UH770V that should support 4K and HDR. It supports that on all 3 HDMI and I have enabled it on HDMI 2 since that is the one I use with my home cinema receiver (Yamaha RX-V679 with support for 4K/HDR/HDCP2.2). PS4 is connected to HDMI 1 on the receiver that should have HDCP 2.2 support.
I have an issue that I haven't seen anyone else have. I have picture but as soon as I start for example FIFA 18 (HDCP 2.2 enabled, HDR and 4K) the screen turns black. I can hear the game start but also sound is not perfect. Once per 20 second or so I can see a picture for about tenth of a second and it is all distorted. I need to turn off the console on the button to go back.
If I change the HDCP to 1.4 in safe mode I see more of the game but let's say it is 50% black screen and 50% picture. While I see the picture it is still somewhat distorted. I can at least turn off the game with the controller and once back in the consoles menu all is fine again.
If I turn off HDCP completely in settings it becomes even better but still unplayable since it flickers.
Only when I turn off HDR on the PS4 I can play the game.
I'm 99% positive I have up to date cables. Read somewhere that basically all cables bought after 2009 should be compliant. I am not using the HDMI cable that came with the system but I had an Xbox One S connected there before and I'm reusing the cable. It is definitely bought way after 2009.
The PS4 is also reporting that HDCP 2.2 is enabled and that HDR is supported. It shouldn't if the cable was too old? However, in the bottom it says that available frequencies on 4K not using HDR is 24Hz to 60Hz but 4K using HDR is not supported and "Your tv might support a higher quality color format and 4K HDR if you change its settings. Check your TV's settings".
But it is set to ULTRA HD Deep color on the HDMI port, what more can I set like?
I have the latest firmware on the TV and on the PS4 Pro, just tried to update and both said I'm running on latest.

Darksiders 2 crashing PS4 pro
I just bought this game a few weeks ago and I have yet to play it. Every single time I get to the warrior to purchase a new move the game crashes and I report the bug. I’ve initialized my console and deleted everything. I’ve tried it all and I’m about to lose my mind. I actually think this could be one of the coolest games I’ve played in a while and I can’t even touch it.

Crashing
I have never had any issues with my PS4 crashing until I downloaded destiny 2. On release destiny 2 was crashing every 20mins and continuing to after 4 patches and me reinstalling the game 6 times. Now every game I play crashes on the loading screen or randomly during gameplay and has even corrupted some of my save data (ffXV, uncharted 1, morrowind and even the new assassins creed) but it has never crashed when I play SMITE (which is like everyday)I am currently initialising my PS4, I need to know why it only started happening after destiny and why its doesn't crash when I play SMITE. Did destinys 'memory leak' issues potentially affect my other games? I have written to bungie on Facebook and they blocked me :(
